Factories aim at becoming flexible, resilient, sustainable and AI-powered. Current Generative AI solutions are powerful, but not yet ready for the specific needs of manufacturing. They struggle with industrial trustworthiness, multimodal factory data and long-term process memory. To support safe AI integration into core engineering & production processes, European manufacturing needs to transition from automation solutions to autonomisation systems through reference frameworks and platforms for deployment of sovereign, trustworthy and human-centric AI frontier models.
euroFMX addresses this gap by unlocking an open industrial AI stack and developing a new generation of trustworthy Industrial Generative AI and a harness for Physics Informed Graph-based autonomisation frontier models — designed to understand manufacturing physics, industrial semantics, production constraints and real operational contexts.
